How does it work?

Rsync greatly improves efficiency when compared to traditional remote backup methods. By synchronizing only those files that have changed since the last backup, using rsync results in large bandwidth savings. When combined with on-the-fly compression, performing daily rsync backup can result in less data transfer than it would take to perform two backups using the .tar.gz method in a given month.

This service will work both on Linux and Windows Operating System. Easy to understand Instructions will be given to setup the backup in your server. We can also setup this for you.

The Offsite Backup Validate Seal

What is this Seal? This seal can be used by any WebbyCart Offsite Backup Client who wish to place this seal/graphic in their website to announce that they Make Daily Offsite Backups. Once this graphic is clicked, it will redirect to our Backup Validate Page. The Offsite Backup Validate Page will Validate the Referrer Site and lists all the Verified Offsite Backup Clients. To be included on the list, the client must need to submit a request to sales@webbycart.com and we will validate if the backup account is active and then the Company/Business Name will be published.
